GOALS

The goal of the project is to create foundation of common national strategy through expanding the circle of stakeholders, establishing social network and providing trainings. Strategy formulation for pilot projects requires an action plan, which will be prepared jointly with our stakeholders to establish a set of necessary needs and priority actions. 

 The next steps to be undertaken are based on the following goals:  
·          Creating network to coordinate  synergetic partnerships among key actors including the Government of Georgia, business sector, universities, scientific research institutions, donor organizations, based on an interdisciplinary, multi-stakeholder dialogue aimed at ensuring a process of consensus building and longer-term commitment.  
 
·          Continuation of value-driven PR campaign and promotional activities on national and international levels targeted at increasing public awareness and involving much larger audiences of stakeholders to advocate NIS realisation in Georgia.
·          Trainings for the stakeholders to increase their capacity and help acquiring modern knowledge and skills in innovation methodology, strategic planning, leadership, HR management, project management, communication and PR strategy
.
·          To initiate a pilot projects in collaboration with the Ministry of Education and Science of Georgia, State Minister’s Office for Diaspora Affairs and State Minister’s Office for European Integration to promote high-quality and relevant science and technology activities, strengthen and benchmark Georgia's Science Base and improve the quality and relevance of higher education system. 

  OUTCOMES 

Upon completion of the project we expect the following outcomes: 
1.        Permanently functioning network of experts will be established to elaborate and formulate the innovation policies in Georgia;
2.        A powerful internet forum will be launched and it will continue permanently in duration of minimum 1 year;
3.        Trainings provided for participants of different stakeholders will conducted in innovation methodology, strategic planning, leadership, HR management, project management, communication and PR strategy.
4.        Overall activities will facilitate the creation of plan for NIS strategy formulation;
5.        TV and Radio interviews and analytical articles for popularizing national innovation strategy.
